The Uffington White Horse is a 110m hill figure cut in the chalk of White Horse Hill in Oxfordshire. It dates from the Bronze Age. If left unattended the horse rapidly disappears. So, for 3000 years, humans have continuously valued this iconic symbol from prehistoric times to our modern disposable, transient world.
